Tomato season has arrived, and with it some delicious and healthy recipes to try. As well as being a favorite ingredient in salads for many of us, tomatoes are a very healthy food, so it’s a good idea to include them in your daily menu as often as possible.

Stuffed tomatoes

Ingredients:

– 8 medium-sized tomatoes
– 1 onion
– 1 yellow pepper
– 400 g mixed minced meat
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1 dl sour cream
– 3 tablespoons butter
– 150 g of cheese trapense
– 1/2 Vlachs sorta
– 1/2 teaspoon sweet pepper
– 1 tablespoon oil
– a mixture of spices, salt, pepper

Preparation

1. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.
2. Dice the onion and paprika, then fry in butter. Add minced meat, finely chopped garlic and chives, sweet red pepper and season. When the meat is half cooked, add the sour cream.
3. Cover the refractory dish with oil, arrange the peeled tomatoes and fill with the minced meat mixture and sprinkle with grated Trappist.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
