Bruschetta with tomato and basil

Ingredients:

6 to 7 tomatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
8 fresh basil leaves (or two tablespoons dry)
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 baguette or French muffin
1/4 cup olive oil

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 230 degrees.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes and leave.
  3. Chop the basil and garlic and add to the tomatoes.
  4. Season the pepper and salt and sprinkle with a tablespoon of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  5. Well mixed.
  6. Cut the bread into thin slices. Grease each side with olive oil using a grease brush.
  7. Place the bread spread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Place the bread in the preheated oven and bake for five minutes until the bread takes on a slight golden color.
  9. Remove from the oven and when the bread has cooled slightly, place a tablespoon of the tomato and basil mixture on top.
  10. Serve chilled with cheese and / or prosciutto (if you are not vegan).
  11. Nice!
