Preparing chickpeas

1/2 cup dried chickpeas (120 g) pre-soaked in water overnight (about 8 hours)
1.5 glasses of water
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Other ingredients

3 tablespoons sesame seeds
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder or 4 chopped garlic cloves
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon turmeric
and pepper to taste
Dry primrose, sweet red pepper

How to prepare

1. Wash the chickpeas that you have soaked in water before washing.
2. Strain well and pour into the sherpan. Pour 1.5 cups of water.
3. Add half a teaspoon of salt, a little baking soda to the water and cook at medium heat for about 15 minutes.
4. Use a fork to check that the chickpeas are cooked. They should be so soft, easy to knead.
5. While the chickpeas are cooking, pour the sesame seeds into a non-greased pan and fry, stirring constantly, until golden. Allow to cool.
6. Pour the cooled sesame seeds into a blender and mix until you get a fine structure.
7. Add garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, turmeric, salt, pepper and red pepper and mix again.
8. Then add the chickpeas to the mixture and stir until you get a thick mixture.
9. Remove the humus from the processor and sleep in a bowl. Add the primrose leaf and season if necessary. Your hummus is ready!
