It speeds up metabolism, helps eliminate toxins, prevents the formation of kidney stones, raises energy, affects the appearance of skin, hair and nails.

Water and weight loss – true or myth?
Even the slightest dehydration causes fatigue, nervousness and headaches. In those moments, people reach for foods that make them happy, such as carbohydrates and sweets. The reason is that carbohydrates are easily digested and our blood sugar levels rise rapidly, which also secretes the hormone of happiness. The same goes, of course, with taking sweets.

However, too much glucose secretion causes it to build up in the liver and muscles, which leads to weight gain. This also means that by drinking enough water during the day we reduce the need for “hunger attacks” and the need for snacks and sweets. Also, the water makes us fuller, and we take in smaller amounts of food at meals. In addition, research has shown that water can speed up metabolism to some extent.
With all of the above, a logical conclusion can be drawn: water can cause weight loss. However, this should not be the only and main reason for drinking water. Proper functioning of the body leads to strong immunity and a complete feeling of well-being.
In addition to drinking enough water, it is necessary to combine a balanced diet and regular physical activity to have a healthy body weight.
